Great new dumpling restaurant in Redmond Town Center! The food was fresh and delicious; I especially liked the spicy shrimp and pork wontons and the honey walnut shrimp. There are so many more dishes that I want to try so I will be going back there soon. The staff was friendly and attentive and the ambiance is warm and welcoming. One of the best dumpling restaurants in the area!

Make a reservation to avoid the wait. Lots of ambiance noise and music. Feels a bit overwhelming at first.

My wife and I made a reservation for 10:15pm. When we entered the restaurant, the host told us it was no where to be found. We showed her the texts that yelp had sent us confirming this reservation, but whenever we tried opening the link, it didn't show a confirmation. (Wondering if anyone else had this issue?) Luckily we were still seated. No one had greeted us or dropped off any drinks to our table for 20 minutes, so we had to wave down a food runner and ask where our server was. About 5-10 minutes later our server greeted us and asked us if we had any questions about the menu. We ordered the assortment XLB and cucumber salad. We tried to order the wonton/shrimp soup, but then he told us that they ran out of wontons/fried xlb for the night. This was understandable, but if any food items had run out, it would've been helpful to mention that first. The wait for our food wasn't too bad. The cucumber salad was a little salty and the cucumbers itself lacked volume (in my opinion). It kinda just fell flat for me & taste like how they look. 4/10 The assortment XLB was decent. No one told us the flavors of each dumpling so we didn't know what to expect. I wasn't a huge fan of the wagyu/truffle dumplings. The chicken, pork, and spicy dumplings were okay. 6/10 The dessert was lowkey the star of the show. The chocolate xlb were very rich and warm, although it was a little too much chocolate for my liking, it was otherwise good. 7/10 The Onyx Golden Lava Custard Bun was absolutely decadent. It had the texture of a manapua bun with a custard filling that wasnt too sweet. 8/10 Through out dinner we heard people dropping/breaking dishes and the manager looked seemingly upset about this. Our server also barely checked on us while we were dining. Overall the quality of the food is there but just may not be my cup of tea. The service was shitty but being that this place just opened up, I'm sure they're still figuring out their flow. Unfortunately overhyped and a little mediocre. Ambiance: 7/10 Food: 5/10 Service: 2/10
The xiao long bao came out fresh and hot without the skins breaking and a good amount of soup inside each one! We got the Assortment to try each flavor BUT later realized it does not include the pork one, so if you do this option then you will need to order Pork Xiao Long Bao separately. The Matcha Lava Xiao Long Bao is very sweet similar to eating hot melted matcha ice cream out of a xiao long bao. As a local, I'm honestly not a fan about a lot of the eateries that have been opening. So, when I heard we were having a dumpling restaurant I was excited! Din tai fung is a family favorite of ours in Disneyland so we were definitely happy to have something similar! We made a reservation and were seated in about 5 mins. Our server was very polite and gave us recommendations on what to try. We tried a lot so I can't name them all but we enjoyed every dish. We will definitely be returning customers here :)
Phenomenal place if you enjoy hearing dishes being cracked and dropped near by. Waited 30-45 minutes to be recognized by a waitress. If you're a foodie this place will not impress you with their dumplings. Me and my wife had much better quality in San Francisco, and or a hole in wall restaurant in Hawaii. Dishes were basic -- definitely aesthetic over quality.
At the front door it said reservations only, but we went to ask the front desk and they actually had space at the bar so immediately we got seated. The food tasted good, the server was great! The ambience was great! I'd come back again!!

I asked my partner to go ask separately, just to see if we'd get a different answer - and again, we were told "no." So why did that other person get a different response? Are they hand-picking who gets to eat there based on appearance? This is absolutely disgusting behavior. I've never felt so disrespected at a restaurant before. Either have a clear policy or don't - but don't lie to some customers while secretly accommodating others. Never coming back, and I suggest you think twice before going.

Does Supreme Dumplings reign supreme in the battle for xiaolongbao supremacy? As of the restaurant's soft opening, not quite. But it's still a worthwhile visit to satisfy your xiaolongbao fix in Honolulu. It's hard not to compare Supreme Dumplings to Din Tai Fung. Their menus offer similar dishes, from soup dumplings and noodle soups to fried rice and vegetables at moderate-to-high prices. (As someone with a food allergy, I appreciated the clear labeling of problematic ingredients on Supreme Dumplings' print and online menu.) Their interiors are clean, modern, and trendy with an emphasis on wood paneling. And their service is equally good, with friendly waiters and prompt delivery of food. The quality of the food, however, is where the two restaurants diverge. Specifically, I found Supreme Dumpling's signature dish--xiaolongbao--overcooked and one note. Because the dumplings had been overcooked, the wrapper was thick and mushy, falling apart as we attempted to pick each dumpling up with chopsticks. This was definitely not comparable to the thin, delicate, and chewy texture of Din Tai Fung's comparable offerings. We weren't able to try the pork and/or shrimp xiaolongbao since the restaurant had already sold out of those varieties, but the Chicken Xiaolongbao (6 for $12) lacked depth of flavor in the filling (i.e. needed more seasoning). Conversely, the Szechuan Spicy Pork Xiaolongbao (6 for $12) were definitely not mild, and the spice dominated our palate. Despite their flaws, the soup dumplings somewhat satisfied our cravings. Although we were largely unimpressed with the xiaolongbao, we were pleased with the Pork Chop Fried Rice ($19), Mini Pan-fried Pork Dumplings (6 pieces for $15), Shanghai Scallion Oil Noodle ($10.50), and Mushroom Garlic Broccolini ($12). The Pork Chop Fried Rice came with an egg-forward fried rice and a crispy pork chop with strong notes of five spice. The Mini-Pan Fried Pork Dumplings nicely married textures, blending the crispy pan-fried wrapper/skirt with the warm soup. The Shanghai Scallion Oil Noodle had chewy noodles covered in a light, refreshing blend of oil and soy sauce. And, the Mushroom Garlic Broccolini had good flavor thanks to the combination of perfectly cooked ingredients. In general, we felt that the price-to-portion ration was on the higher side, especially when looking at the menus of other branches on the mainland. For instance, in Bellevue, Washington, you get 8 pieces of Chicken Xiaolongbao or Mini Pan-fried Pork Dumplings--rather than the 6 pieces--for the same prices we're paying in Hawaii! While I understand that adjustments need to be made based on each locality, it doesn't feel great to pay a markup on items that will inevitably go up in the future.

Since it's brand new, the interior dining experience is beautiful and very clean. Knocking one star off just because it felt the tables were quite crammed next to each other. Service was also good but it is a longer wait time to be seated (I know that may change later after hype slows down). I enjoyed all of the dishes, but the Xio Long Bao soup dumplings were not as flavorful as I recall them being at the Bellevue location. No complaints about the Tan tan noodles, those were delicious. Serving sizes can be a little small so order accordingly!

Our waiter approached and offered us peanuts which was an odd offering and we asked if it was like Din Tai Fung where things are served family style since no one explained how this place worked. He confirmed it was. Then the table Let him know it's my birthday to which he said he would see if there was anything they do for birthday which was very kind. We ordered and waited for a pretty long time for our entire order. Not to mention our waiter legit disappeared. I had to educate my guests on what to do and how to eat dumplings. After waiting 20 minutes after finishing our meal, we asked another waiter for our bill. The manager then approaches and asks if our waiter offered dessert. I said "no he never returned after getting our order" the managers response was "well he's on a break". Ok sir. The proper thing to do is to apologize for the lack of communication and not be rude. We won't be back based on the service alone. The food was all over cooked. Just a lack of wow all around.

I was so excited to try this new place but the tantan noddle was too salty. And the spicy wonton was too oily and i only taste the chilli. The only thing I like is XLB, I forgot to take picture of it. Even I make the reservation I still have to wait 20' because they are behind. The waiting time for food is long too. Each visit has been consistent with food and service. Nice ambiance for friendly hangs out and causal date night. My go to would be the Szechuan spicy xiaolongbao, crab & pork xiaolongbao, shrimp & pork xiaolongbao, supreme tan tan noodles, wild mushroom friced rice (husband fav), pork chop fried rice, and stir fried green beans. Gets a little expensive if for larger groups due to portion sizes.

Best dumplings. All the food is so good and everyone is so friendly. Really one of my favorite places to go to for dinner.

They have a problem with their HVAC system. There is an incredibly loud fan noise whooshing through the restaurant. The waiter couldn't hear us when we ordered, we had to shout at each other to be heard. We stuck it out and had headaches by the time we left. The food was pretty good, but they really need to figure out their noisy vent problem. They were on soft opening, so hopefully they figure it out before full opening.
We stopped by this location twice, honestly one of my favorite soup dumpling spots! In the past we go to their Kirkland and Bellevue locations. These dumplings are always good, thin skin, packed with flavor and soup. And you gotta get their shrimp fried rice, lots of wok hei. Their tan tan noodles were also packed with flavors, spicy and sesame! The string beans were a new favorite, love the mushrooms in this. Everything was really tasty and not salty which was perfect. Can't wait to come back soon!
